The Wavering Balance

Sham Hinchey and Marzia Messina created Marshamstreet in 2002, producing personal work where traditional photography meets digital processing. Digital processing is the main characteristic of the project The Wavering Balance, inspired by Roberto Capucci’s sculpture dresses. The pieces, permeated with surrealism in undefined time and space, stage a dreamlike universe playing with the interaction between different styles. The project was exhibited for the first time in the Mestni Muzej  Ljubljana in 2008, in 2009 in Villa Bardini in Florence and finally in 2010 in Museo Boncompagni Ludovisi in Rome.
